Nestled in the town of Reigate, and held in their family church in the little village of Buckland, M & L’s wedding embraced a palette of “seaside blues & frothy whites” — a gentle nod to their home by the sea. The floral design focused on the bridal bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets and thoughtful, seasonal buttonholes.

The bridal bouquet featured soft blues and crisp whites to reflect the coastal feel, while the bridesmaids’ bouquets echoed the same tones with subtle touches of pale blue. The buttonholes added a unique, charming detail, with tiny green strawberries and dainty blue‑tinted nigellas (Love‑in‑a‑Mist) bringing texture and a hint of summer whimsy. Sweet peas — perfectly in season in June — were woven through all the bouquets, their soft petals and delicate scent adding light movement and a quiet, expressive touch.

Each piece was designed to feel personal and unfussy, working with the natural rhythm of the season. The result was a floral story that honoured seaside roots and celebrated seasonal beauty, fitting seamlessly into the intimacy of Buckland and the gentle warmth of early summer.
